If you’re looking for a serious professional vibe, Dela’s Doggy Desserts is a great option for a dog birthday cake in the Salt Lake City area. Not only does Dela’s offer quite a large variety of sizes of cakes and everything from the flavor to the frosting to the colors can be customized to your (and your dog’s!) liking.

If cake doesn’t really seem like your dog’s thing, you can also choose from donuts, cookies, peanut butter cups, cupcakes, and many other treats!

Ma and Paws Bakery

If you’re looking for something a little easier than a traditional birthday cake, Ma and Paws Bakery offers a wide variety of birthday treats. Their bakery case is always filled to the brim with cute, birthday (and other) themed cookies! This is a great option if you need something last minute for either your own dog or as a gift to a friend.

They have the best selection of pre-made treats in the valley and have locations in Millcreek and American Fork. With just a day of advanced planning, you can take advantage of the most unique product Ma and Paws offers- the puppy pizza! Choose from either chicken or beef pizza and the message can be customized for your occasion.

Rebel Paw

If you are an extra AF dog parent looking for a statement piece, Rebel Paw in Midvale might be more your style. Primarily known for their bandanas, Rebel Paw also bakes an over-the-top, tiered theme cakes with custom accents.

Their Barkday Package includes an amazing cake, custom banner, and bandana! Orders can be placed through their website.

Birthday Parties

Recently the options for throwing your dog a birthday party in or around Salt Lake City have grown. There are now dog party rental locations in Sandy and a few other places around the valley.

Zoom Room – Sandy

Zoom Room is an agility gym, playground and party place for dogs and now they have a location in Sandy. You can rent time in their dedicated dog event center where they have toys, treats and party favors. Clean up is easy and the facility is indoors, so you can party no matter the weather.

Zoom Room provides all of the party supplies, set up and clean up, agility equipment and a doggy disco.

Pawtown Oasis

Pawtown Oasis, located in Clearfield, Utah will make throwing your dog a birthday party simple. They have a few levels of dedicated party packages that provide everything from dog food to human food and party favors. To check out the party options and pricing, visit them online.

Pawtown Oasis is a dog swimming pool, indoor dog park and agility gym and when you plan your poochy party through them, you and your guests get access to all of their facilities. Keep in mind, they have a maximum of 10 dogs per party.

Pups SLC

Pups SLC, located around Sugar House in Salt Lake City will do the planning for you. They have a 900 square-foot event space you can rent out. They offer a Party Package that includes a custom cake from Rebel Paw, party favors and a bandanna.

They recommend checking out online and then calling for specific pricing and availability. The space is available on weekends and some week nights.

Dela’s Doggy Desserts

If you’re looking for a dedicated birthday party space where your pup and friends can live it up, Dela’s Doggy Desserts in West Jordan is the only designated party place in the area! Their 30x30ft space includes covered seating for the humans and a large grassy area for the dogs to romp.

Their rental fee includes 2.5 hours of time in the space, tables and chairs, access to refrigeration, and more. For extra convenience, you can add on Dela’s cakes and confections for the ultimate party. Click HERE to learn more or to book.

Barley’s Canine Rec Center

If a private pool pawty is more your style, then Barley’s Canine Rec Center might be a great fit. They offer a variety of spaces and times so you can customize a party to your needs between the pool and the lounge.

Each guest must have current vaccines on file, as well as having passed Barley’s initial swim test PRIOR to the party. Visit their website or call to get up to date pricing information.

The maximum number of dogs in the pool is 8 at a time but they also have a lounge you can rent out for people and pups to hang out.

Cottonwood Dog Park

Okay this isn’t technically a reservable party space, but we wanted to include it because it is our top pick for a dog park birthday party! Not only is it fully fenced and quite large, but Cottonwood Park also has several picnic tables inside the park (something most dog parks don’t have) so you can easily set up balloons, treats, and whatever other party accessories your heart desires. Just be sure to not confuse it with Big Cottonwood Park- this one is behind the Utah Department of Agriculture.

Dog Mode

Dog Mode is another local dog pool that can be reserved for private parties. Their website indicates you can book private swim time, they also have prices listed online. They also have a pool maximum of eight dogs at a time.

Dog Mode has an attached fenced area with seating and a pergola that could be utilized for party activities. All dogs must have current vaccinations and pass a swimming evaluation with Dog Mode staff prior to private a swim, so make sure to communicate that to your guests.
