Hounds & Haunts: Salt Lake City’s First Annual Halloween Pet Festival

Get ready for a Halloween celebration made for the whole family – including the four-legged members. Hounds & Haunts is a pet-friendly Halloween festival coming to Rotary Glen Park in Salt Lake City on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM–5:00 PM.

Created to bring together local pet lovers, small businesses, and the community, Hounds & Haunts will feature local vendors, food trucks, a pet costume contest, raffles, giveaways, festive activities, photo opportunities, and plenty of Halloween fun. Whether you’re shopping with your pup, showing off their costume, grabbing something delicious, or simply enjoying an afternoon outdoors, there’s something for everyone.

Supporting Local & Giving Back

Hounds & Haunts is more than a Halloween event – it’s an opportunity to celebrate and support the local pet community. The festival will showcase pet businesses, local makers, and food vendors while creating space for attendees to discover and support small businesses.

The event will also give back to a local animal rescue, with proceeds from the event raffle going toward the rescue selected through community nominations.

Bring Your Best-Friend

Dogs are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion, whether they’re going full spooky, ridiculously cute, or somewhere in between. With pumpkins, autumn décor, local vendors, Halloween activities, and plenty of photo-worthy moments, Hounds & Haunts is designed to be a fun fall outing for both people and pets.

Tickets are only needed for the humans. No ticket needed for dogs.
