Back by popular demand, this workshop is for dogs and dog owners who want to introduce their dog to agility, but not on a competition level. It is a beginning course and does not focus on competitive rules, technique, or flatwork (human technique that happens between obstacles). No previous experience or knowledge is necessary. This workshop doesn’t follow competition rules. It is laid back and designed for the dog owner who wants to try the equipment without worrying about official technique and rules. Each workshop ranges from 60-90 minutes depending on how many pups are registered.
There are several apparatuses we will be using including a standard jump, tire jump, short and long tunnel, a-frame, weave poles, and a dog walk (subject to change). You will spend some time on each apparatus individually, then at the end, we will combine all and have you and your pup “run” the mini agility course. We love pups who walk or saunter the course!
